Friday the 13th :-) New Year Lunch Workout


Hey Guys....It's Friday the 13th... And it's the Sri Lankan New year as well. I couldnt follow the exact "nakath times" (Auspisious Times) for cooking and eating etc. because it was during the work hours and it's not a holiday in the US... HOWEVER, I did manage to hit the gym during those hours hahahahaha.... Happy New year Every One... May it will be a fun filled and healthy year full of happiness, love and joy.... This year is going to be speacial for me because I will be getting married in winter :-)

Ok...here we go with the Friday's fun stuff.... As always... Jose's classes are just SUPERB... I'm really gonna miss his sessions once I leave Miami...

Today's workout!!!

Warm up 20 mins with fast pace full body and core exersices

Part 1: Five rounds of 40/20 (40 seconds excersice and 20 seconds break) - with light dumbbells (10-12 lbs)
After each round take a one min break

40 seconds : Burpees

40 seconds : Push up & row

40 seconds : Push press


40 seconds : Jumping lunges


40 seconds : Plyo-Jacks - Begin with feet together and jump up, taking feet out to the side


 

Part 2: Three rounds of 40/10 (40 seconds excersice and 10 seconds break with the same set of dumbbells)

40 Sedonds: Side lunges with bent arm side laterals (after you reach the stand position you do the bent arm side lateral)



40 Seconds: Sumo deadlifts


40 Seconds: Mountain clibers

40 Seconds: Dumbbell Punches


Strech and warm-down well guys.... My diet is going to be slightly unhealthy today because of New Year food (Traditional Sri Lankan Sweets) hahaha.... But all you readers dont forget to take enough proteins and eat healthy :-) Again.. Wishing everyone a very happy new year!!!
